What a difference a day makes!

Well, it's a good thing the end of the month was Wednesday and not yesterday. The market took a tumble and most of my gains for October. Ouch. Hopefully things will be back up soon and also by months end. Not a sprint....

October Networth Update

Another pretty good month. Retirement accounts keeping things moving in the right direction. $6700 on the plus side this month. Pretty happy with that. I really need to think about refinancing my interest only loan or if nothing else, start putting more down for the principal. My liabilities are only going down each month for my car payment which I am paying down extra each month. It would be nice to take a mini chunk out of my hulking mortgage each month. But what's keeping me from paying down extra is I'm getting a better rate on my savings than I'm paying in my mortgage. Not to mention I can write off all the interest I'm paying on my mortgage. I guess unless I can refi with a very good rate, the goal will to put a minimum of $500 each month into my savings account to basically offset what I'd be paying off each month into the principal if I did refi with around the same rate.
